Day 01: Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria’s International Airport in Costa Rica, and after clearing customs and immigrations, our bilingual representative will be waiting to welcome you to our country, and drive you to Hotel Finca Rosa Blanca,
in the outskirts of the city. To celebrate love and romance, this evening will be spent at the inspiring RB Master Suite, where relaxed elegance meets privacy, providing some of the best views of the surrounding farmland and coffee plantations. There’s just no better way to spend your first honeymoon night!
Day 02: Today, after a hearty home cooked breakfast, your private bilingual guide will meet you and take you to San Jose’s local airport for the 1-hour domestic flight from San Jose to Puerto Jiménez. Upon arrival to Puerto Jimenez, the staff of Lapa Ríos Eco Lodge will be waiting and take you to their Hotel. Lapa Rios Ecolodge is more than just a beautiful rainforest hotel or eco resort next to the beach. With almost 60 employees, Lapa Rios is a model ecotourism project that strives to show both its guests, its employees and the surrounding community that “a forest left standing is worth more than one cut down”. With only 16 private, upscale spacious bungalows nestled within the rain forest that exude harmony and an immense tranquility in this undisturbed environment, John and Karen Lewis have made this private nature reserve, truly worth seeing.
Day 03 & 04: Enjoy 2 full days at Lapa Rios including 2 guided excursions. Your stay includes for your meals per day, and as a special treat to the couple, we will also provide a private dinner for two while here. Besides providing a close encounter with Nature, your honeymoon at Lapa Rios will prove to be a romantic and active experience.

Day 05: It’s time to continue with your unique honeymoon into another destination. The staff at Lapa Rios will transfer you to the airstrip in Jimenez for the domestic flight to Quepos. Upon arrival in Quepos, you will be picked up by a private transportation service and taken to the new Arenas del Mar Hotel, one of the very few beachside hotels in the Manuel Antonio area, and truly a site of unparalleled beauty. Featuring amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, Arenas del Mar is the perfect escape for honeymooners, with its spacious suites, some of the finest food in town, and their luxurious Las Brisas SPA.
Day 06 & 07:Free days in Manuel Antonio to enjoy the beach, a hike in the National Park (Self guided or with a local guide), one of the many day tours available or just relax at the hotel and facilities. Your hosts at Arenas del Mar invite you not to miss their Tico Sours, prepared by the Tico bartenders and to walk along Espadillas Beach to Manuel Antonio National Park.
The Manuel Antonio National Park sits along the Pacific Coast and boasts an estuary, mangroves, a lagoon, beaches and winding paths. All this on 638 hectares of land and 55,000 hectares of protected marine environment. Take a walk through the tropical forest and find mosses, ferns, flowers and epiphytes growing thickly on every tree. One trail leads you to an observation tower with a breathtaking 360° view. Note that the park is closed on Mondays.
The town of Manuel Antonio offers restaurants, lodging and souvenir shops. Aside from the park, there are several activities that you can enjoy in the area. Horseback riding, white water rafting, canopy tours & zip lines and sea kayaking are just a few. Beachcombing is not only a good way to explore the beaches, but it's also inexpensive!
Quepos lies at the foot of a small town hill and the road leading the hill. Along this route, you will find most of hotels in the area and restaurants.
Day 08:A local private transfer will bring you back to the airstrip in Quepos, for the short 20-minute domestic flight back to San Jose. Our driver will be waiting for your arrival and will take you back to Finca Rosa Blanca for your last night in this tropical paradise.
Day 09: After spending some precious days in Costa Rica, it’s time to go back home and start a new life together! Our bilingual representative will meet you at the hotel approximately 3 ½ hours prior to your International plane departure time in order to take you to the International Airport. Airport regulations indicate that traveling passengers must check in 3 hours prior to departure. Remember that you must pay a $ 26.00 USD per person departure tax at the airport.
