"Romantic Oddysey"
This tour provides the opportunity of exploring two of the beautiful coastal
regions of the country. First, head to the Central Pacific Coast where you
discover why Villa Caletas is said to be “close to Heaven”. From
here, continue to the North Pacific Coast, where the miles of white sand beaches
and stunning sunsets are waiting.
Day
01: Arrival to San José’s Juan Santamaria International Airport.
After clearing customs and immigrations our bilingual representative will
be waiting in order to take you to your hotel in San Jose. Enjoy the scenic
views of the Central Valley and the fine cuisine of the boutique-style Alta
Hotel, located in the mountains of Santa Ana in the suburbs of the
city. In a relaxed atmosphere of understated elegance, guests at Alta are
pampered with personalized service and have the opportunity to enjoy the striking
glass-tiled pool with its Jacuzzi and the adjacent amenity spa and exercise
room. Inside, is the sauna and massage service is available upon request
Day 02: Wake up to the beauty of the area and enjoy a delicious buffet
breakfast. The rental car representative will meet you at the hotel today
and deliver your rental 4x4 Mid-size SUV (Automatic Toyota Rav4 or similar).
After filling out the necessary paper work and once he gives you maps and
driving instructions, you’re ready to begin your journey towards the
Central Pacific Coast. Villa Caletas, is magically
set on a mountain cliff that provides a breathtaking view of the coastline.
At the bottom of the mountain, Villa Caletas offers its own private beach.
For you, we’ve selected a spacious and luxury Junior Suite; they’re
equipped with one queen bed and small living room with a great ocean view
from the terrace and also features an independent Jacuzzi or Jacuzzi –
bathtub for two persons.
The view of the sunset from the Greek amphitheatre is a true event that we
don’t want you to miss, so, we’ll be happy to treat you to a glass
of wine or cocktail while you view this true spectacle.
Day
03: Free day to enjoy Villa Caleta’s facilities. The pool with an
"infinity" edge creates the illusion of being one with the ocean.
Adding to its splendor are a miniature waterfall, an island of tropical plants,
and natural-rock facing, also, you can take your 4x4 (or the hotel’s
shuttle) to / from the nearby Caletas beach a wild, volcanic sand and very
private beach, equipped with sun beds and were drinks are available out of
the snack bar to relax under the sun or under the cool shade, there are also
showers and restrooms. Also, the spa offers relaxing massages, therapies and
packages to invigorate your body and soul. Outdoors activities like Cruise
tours and jungle boat tours are available from the hotel.
Day 04: When you’re ready, drive from Villa Caletas heading north
to Langosta Beach a quiet, very private tropical beach in the North Pacific
Coast of Costa Rica located at only a 10 minute driving distance from the
bustling town of Tamarindo Beach, where restaurants, bars and many night life
options are available. Your beach home will be the elegant Cala
Luna Hotel, a haven for the discriminating couple, offering top-of-the-notch
personalized service, and a romantic setting perfect to enjoy some relaxing
beach time.
Here, you will stay in a private and elegant Garden Villa with its own plunge
pool and 1,350 square feet (150 square meters). It has a master bedroom with
king size bed and an additional room. All villas are carefully appointed with
private parking, green areas, fan, a/c, direct line telephone, satellite TV,
stereo CD player and fully equipped bathroom in each bedroom. The kitchens
boast amenities such as an espresso machine and a microwave oven.
Day
05 & Day 06: Days at leisure at the beach. The hotel is approximately
40 meters away from the beach, along a direct access path that leads to the
pure white sand beach sprinkled with multicolored shells. Such romantic scenery
beckons visitors to stroll along its pristine shoreline, enjoy the serenity
of the sapphire waters, or behold a brilliant sunset draping the evening with
a silvery moonlight that dances atop tranquil waters.
Day 07: The final day at the beach invites you to take part in one
of the available day trips in the area, including entertaining surf lessons,
relaxing kayaking trips in the estuary, water skiing, wind surfing and jungle
safari boat tours, among others. We recommend a late morning or early afternoon
return drive to the city; driving time back to San José is approximately
5 hours. For your last night in San Jose, the Hotel Alta will be glad to host
you again. In the afternoon, a rental car representative will come to the
hotel and pick up the car.
Day 08: After spending some precious days in Costa Rica, it’s
time to go back home and start a new life together! Our bilingual representative
will meet you at the hotel approximately 3 ½ hours prior to your International
plane departure time in order to take you to the International Airport. Airport
regulations indicate that traveling passengers must check in 3 hours prior
to departure. Remember that you must pay a $ 26.00 USD per person departure
tax at the airport.
