"Hotel Occidental Grand Papagayo"

The newest addition to the Occidental Hotel chain is the deluxe Grand Papagayo Hotel. Tucked away in Playa Buena (Buena Beach), in the Gulf of Papagayo, this fine property caters especially to honeymooners and couples, with premium hospitality services.

Here, there are 3 different dining options: “The buffet” offers an international menu served buffet style on a more casual setting and the Italian Asian Cuisine Restaurants, which require advance reservations. Note that the dress code for these restaurants states that men must wear long pants, no beachwear or sandals are allowed.

While the snack bars & the disco are open for night and day entertainment the SPA & Fitness center provide opportunites for relaxation and comfort.

169 rooms are divided in 7 different room categories, ranging from deluxe room to the Royal Club Master Suite. All rooms feature a/c, safety deposit box, and hair dryer, satellite TV, telephone and minibar with water, beer, and soft drinks replenished every other day.

Differently to the Deluxe rooms, the Deluxe ocean view, offer a nice ocean view. The Grand Concierge room offers concierge service and other room amenities. The Grand romance rooms are perfect for honeymooners included bottle of champagne, half hour in room massage for the couple, first morning breakfast in bed, among others. Finally, the Royal Club rooms are a different category of rooms within the resort; a boutique-style facility that provides personalized services and VIP amenities. Guests enjoy all the resort has to offer plus the privacy of the Royal Club. Some of it’s amenities include private check in & reception area, concierge, room service, free Internet, VIP room amenities, fruit basket, turn down service & bathrobes.
