Team Member Tuesday with Kevin Babcock, Account Manager

This week’s Team Member Tuesday features, Kevin Babcock, Account Manager. “My favorite thing about Travelers Haven is that we are ‘fearless’. I personally, have always been willing to take a risk and try new things and without being afraid of the outcome. (Never failed, only learned – one of our core company values) – It is amazing, to work for a company who has the same perspective. Never afraid to challenge the market, implement new strategies and give it hell! And if it doesn’t work, we go back to the drawing board and do it better the next time. Personally, that is very motivating for me,” said Kevin.

Kevin was born and raised in New York, about an hour and 15 minutes north of Manhattan in a town called Cornwall. He grew up on a farm, and his life was simply hunting, fishing, and playing sports. Kevin moved to Denver for a fresh start. Before joining Travelers Haven in September of 2019, he worked at HomeAdvisor for 8 years in various sales roles, including corporate sales trainer. Kevin loves the outdoors, hunting and fishing are his passions. He also loves taking the 4-wheelers out and riding in the mountains. Kevin’s goal is to buy a ranch and have a small farm within the next few years and raise a family on it. He lives with his girlfriend, Alyssia and their two dogs, Dakota (Husky Lab mix) and Bodie (Red Siberian Husky).

What is the best part about working on the inside sales team?

The inside sales team’s comradery is second to none. We literally work as one. Constant communication, and we always help each other out when needed. Everyone on this team is genuine in wanting each member to be successful and we will all do what we need to, to ensure that each of us is.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

I can wiggle my ears, lol!

Where’s one place you wish you could travel to (after COVID) that you haven’t been to?

I’m not much for traveling, however, I very much want to go to Alaska.

What is your favorite quote?

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall” – Nelson Mandela

I love this quote because I have been through so many battles in life and I have been blessed to have learned from each and become better from those mistakes, and failures that have shaped me into the person I am today. I am thankful for each hardship and grateful to be alive each and every day.
